Understanding these factors helps you get the right board at the right price — no over-spec, no under-spec.
Finer pixel pitch = more LEDs per square foot = higher cost. P2 costs 2× more than P10 for the same area. Match pitch to your viewing distance — don't pay for resolution you can't see.
Outdoor boards need higher brightness (5,000+ nits), weatherproof cabinets (IP65), and stronger structures. Add 30–50% cost over equivalent indoor boards.
Larger boards benefit from economies of scale — cost per sq ft drops as size increases. A 50 sq ft board costs less per sq ft than a 5 sq ft board.
Ground-level installation is cheapest. Rooftop, high-rise facade, or curved installations require scaffolding, cranes, and custom fabrication — adding 15–40% to project cost.
