A national music tour needed stage visuals that could travel — the same immersive LED backdrop, rebuilt in a new city every few days, by local crews of varying experience. The old setup ate 8 hours per venue and still produced alignment issues visible on camera.
The Challenge
Touring LED is a logistics problem disguised as a display problem. 130 sqm of panels had to survive 8 load-ins and load-outs, assemble identically in venues with different rigging, and come up fast enough to leave time for soundcheck and lighting programming.
The Solution
CVRM III fast-assembly rental panels with click-lock connections and pre-configured cabling looms. Panels were flight-cased in assembly order, so local crews followed a fixed sequence rather than a drawing. A Cosmic View technician travelled with the tour for commissioning at each stop.
The Result
Per-venue setup dropped from 8 hours to under 3 — returning five hours per city to production. Zero panel failures across the tour; the same system has since been redeployed for corporate events and wedding stages.
